Friday and new music!

Today we’re bringing you some soul and some rock, all wrapped up in one cool package called Lady Dottie & The Diamonds. From the West Coast, but with a sound that works everywhere, these guys have it all. Their tunes have a nice vibe to them and paradoxically an old sound as well as a new sound.

From their self-titled album we’re running Livin’ It Up and I Ain’t Mad At Ya–two good cuts, from a good album.

Olympus Mons (hailing from Pittsburgh) is a welcome break from the often formula-based songs that seem to come out all the time. These guys have their owns sound, which is all their own–and a darn good sound it is, too.

We’re running their self-titled album and the cut Hours… and you’ll spend hours listening to it (sorry. We just HAD to type that). But seriously, it’s a great album and this is a great song and it fits in well with what we are doing here. Remember, these guys are independent and be sure to support independent music.
