Channel Theory

Friday, June 19th, 2009

It’s a Friday and time for some awesome music! Today’s pick is Channel Theory and their new album These Things. And from that we’ve selected Work of Art for you! Channel Theory is from Chicago and this album is, well, wonderful! These guys know how to spin a tune and be way cool about it, too. You’ll find members of Kiss, Alanis Morissette and Jane’s Addiction on this album, and you can hear it in several shows on Television (you know, TV? It’s that thing you happen to do when you are not listening to Channel Theory and Radio Free David, which is, oh, about never…) and these guys are just way. smoking. hot.

Oh yeah. We’re really liking them. You will too. This I know.

As always,
Enjoy!

The Prodigy - Warrior’s Dance

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

We’re certainly dancing around here today with the new single from The Prodigy: Warrior’s Dance. Warrior’s Dance is a driving, high-energy tune that never lets up and is impossible to be sitting down for. The beat and melody absolutely rivet you and ensnare you… a great, well crafted and well performed tune by a great group and we can’t wait for more!

We are keen on The Prodigy and more than pleased to have them in our playlist…and we know that you will be too. Now, it is time to be a warrior and dance!

As always,
Enjoy!

VesuviaSonic - Transfixed

Friday, June 5th, 2009

Straight up rock and roll… sometimes there is nothing better. And there is nothing better than VesuviaSonic, either, to perfectly supply just that.

Hailing from L.A., these guys provide some great tunes… it’s a good driving beat. You know, the kind that gets you up and out of your chair and moving to the music. Oh yeah, they are that good. We’re really keen on these guys and think you’ll be hearing from them. And speaking of hearing, we’re running Head-On Collision for you!

As always,
Enjoy!

Foreign Cinema - Non-Synchronous Sound

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

We’re mixing it up a little bit for this release with Foreign Cinema. We’ve decided to drop in a little something different, or, as we like to call it, Foreign Cinema. Shoegaze? Sure. We’re good for that. Spacey? OK. Trip-Hop? Something to chill to? Yup. Something that is darn fun to listen to and have on your player? Absolutely. They are all of these and so much more.

From their EP Non-Synchronous Sound, we’re running the cut Arbitary Map Mode… it plays well, holds on to you, and delivers a great sonic soundstage for you. We’re delighted to bring this to you! Oh, and there is the little matter that they are the Deli SF’s Band of the Month. These guys are good!

As always,
Enjoy!
